The Lampman Custom Shop

The Lampman started out in 1997 providing lamp repair as a supplement for the antique store under the same name. While most people are satisfied with out-of-the-box lighting, some clients had a need for something unique to fit their space. The Lampman Custom Shop began providing that service. Many of our custom installations are in businesses in Dothan, AL and the surrounding wiregrass area. This site was conceived for the benefit of people not satisfied an ordinary chandelier or sconce. Also, maybe some of our older projects will inspire you to in the implementation of lighting fixtures.

Our shop has all the tools necessary to design and fabricate any steel or iron fixture of any scale and design. We have also designed many lantern fixtures for many applications. Some of our custom pieces feature a hybridization of old and new, where we add antique elements including crystal to a custom piece.
